GSER 56 km provides all runners an epic day out on the trails. Our course showcases the iconic high country trails of Bon Accord track, Bungalow Spur, Mt Feathertop, the Razorback, Mt Hotham and the Mt Hotham Huts walk trail, before finishing at the Alpine Gateway.

If you’ve completed a coastal 56 km, your next challenge is a High country 56 km – we know which one is more rewarding and think you’ll love what we have in store for you!

GSER56 Details:

  • ENTRY FEE: $149 Opening Price until May 31st.
  • DISTANCE: 56km with 2,900m elevation gain
  • START TIME: 7:00am 16th of November - Hotham Central - Mt Hotham.
  • FINISH LINE: ALPINE GATEWAY - GREAT ALPINE ROAD, MT HOTHAM.
  • TOTAL CUT OFF: 15 hours (10 PM Saturday the 18th).
  • COMPULSORY GEAR CHECK - EMAILED IN or FROM FRIDAY 2PM UNTIL 1 hr before RACE START
  • COMPULSORY PRE RACE UPDATE: 6:45am, 16th November - Hotham Central Start line.
  • RACE BRIEFING: Online viewing from the Monday the week of GSER 2024.
