GSER 14km has been designed as an introduction to mountain running with the course tackling some very sweet single track trails all within the Mt Hotham Resort boundaries.
Taking in the scenes of the Hotham Huts loop, the course does include some steep climbs but with very rewarding views. There is no doubt that this will take true grit and determination to finish, but once you hit the trails, your trail crew will be awaiting your arrival at the finish line!

GSER14 Details:

  • DISTANCE: 14km's with 700m elevation gain
  • START TIME: 9:00am 16th of November - ALPINE GATEWAY - Mt Hotham Alpine Resort.
  • QUALIFYING CRITERIA: None
  • FINISH LINE: ALPINE GATEWAY - Mt Hotham Alpine Resort
  • TOTAL CUT OFF: 5 hours (2 PM Saturday Afternoon)
  • COMPULSORY GEAR CHECK - EMAILED IN or FROM FRIDAY 2PM UNTIL 1 hr before RACE START
  • COMPULSORY PRE RACE UPDATE: 8:45am, 16th November at ALPINE GATEWAY - Mt Hotham Alpine Resort.
  • RACE BRIEFING: Online viewing from the Monday the week of GSER 2024.
