Qualifying

With the lack of events and the availability to get to the Mountains to train in many parts of Australia and around the world over the past 2 years, the qualifying process for GSER 2022 will be a little different.

We encourage anybody that’s looking to take on our 100mile event to sign up and provide your results from any events (or training runs) 100km and greater, along with elevation gain of 4500m’s (minimum) in the last 12months plus what your training plan will look like in the lead up to GSER 2022.

GSER 100 Mile is a UTMB® World Series Qualifier Event.

All runners who complete the course gain qualifier points for their UTMB® Index.

If you can demonstrate a good training history, along with any race or training run results – then we will approve you to take on the GSER 2022 challenge.

You will need to submit a web link to your file/result (e.g. Strava Link or Official Race Website) when you sign up – or modify your entry profile at some later date to include that link.

This can be done via the GSER registration portal: https://eventplus.net/GSE22

This must be completed before 31 October 2022
